In 2001, the Steps project Steps for the Future opened a dialogue across Southern Africa about living with HIV/ Aids. The collection of films asked questions, started discussions and made bold moves to get people to confront themselves and their communities about living positively.
Eleven years later, Steps for the Future has created networks across the region and held many workshops about using film to discuss living in the presence of HIV. In light of these accomplishments, it would be useful to look at South Africa’s history in dealing with HIV. This infographic is valuable to see what has been done and what is still needed.
